Croda’s Ice Cream Emulsion Scoops New Prize at Cosmetagora 2016
Global speciality chemical company Croda, was delighted to win the Cosmetagora "Coup de Coeur" formulation award for 2016 organised by the French Cosmetic Society in Paris in January 2016. The formulation theme was "Surprise Us" and Croda impressed the judges with its Ice Cream Emulsion which provides a unique appealing visual texture, a light and cooling sensation during application and prolongs skin hydration.
2016 marked the eighth Cosmetagora show which has become highly regarded and well attended with more than 120 exhibitors for 2016. This was the third annual contest that awards the three most innovative formulations from the forty eight different participants that entered this year. The top three awards went to IFF Lucas Cosmetics, SICAF and Arkema Innovative Chemistry. Croda’s Ice Cream Emulsion did not fit into any of the existing award categories but the judges were so impressed by the formulation that they created a brand new "Coup de Coeur" prize to recognise Croda’s outstanding innovation.
Croda is a global expert in formulations and is always quick to recognise and react to emerging worldwide innovative trends. The Ice Cream Emulsion was developed at Croda’s Shanghai laboratory in China where the trend for this type of product was first identified.
Collecting the award were Pascale Rossi, Marketing Manager and Guillaume Douillet, Sales Manager for Consumer Care of Croda France who were keen to praise the invaluable contributions of all those involved in creating this exceptional new formulation.
