At Crodarom, we focus our innovation on providing sustainable ingredients, manufactured using ethically sourced raw materials. We understand the necessity to preserve our environment and its diversity, whilst developing extracts with minimised ethical, social and environmental impacts. Within our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, we have included corporate governance from the Croda group that applies to our organisation, including our purchasing and supply chains.
We are proud to have been certified ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO9001 and EFfCI for several years now, and have initiated a continuous improvement process for our practices, the coherence of which is governed by the ISO26000 standard. In 2018, Crodarom launched an investment programme to expand its Chanac production site. The project, finalised in 2020, includes the expansion of the storage warehouse and laboratories, as well as the construction of a new administrative building. A second investment phase, scheduled for 2021, will be initiated to expand and redesign the production area. The current Crodarom facilities cover almost 4,000m² with a headcount of 70 employees. As a result of the expansion project, the headcount will increase to 100 employees and the facilities will include an additional surface area of 2,200m².
Fully committed to our CSR program, this site extension fits within Crodarom’s wishes to improve its industrial performance whilst respecting its ethical, social and environmental values. Crodarom is committed to:
• improving the well-being of its employees through enhanced workspaces
• respecting the environment by giving priority to the use of ecological materials and low-energy consumption equipment and facilities
• supporting local economic development by granting 94% of total work contracts to regional businesses located within less than 100km from the site (47% of craftsmen are located in the Lozère area).
We are passionate about the transparency of our products, and this is even more important now that consumers are demanding transparency of the personal care products that they are consuming. To help you in meeting the needs of your customers, we have created a range of icons to help you navigate the sustainability criteria that is important to you and your customers. We also use labels from certifying bodies such as COSMOS and Halal, all of which are visible on documentation relative to our products.
