In Persian medicine, it was recommended to treat anxiety and sleeping disorders.
Coriander is an excellent source of vitamins (A, C, K, B9), as well as minerals, magnesium, calcium and even trace elements such as potassium and iron. Thanks to its soothing and antibacterial properties, it is very efficient to cure various skin diseases. Rich in phenolic compounds, the leaves and seeds have also demonstrated interesting antioxidant properties.
