Tulips have been cultivated for over thousand years and it has always been the symbol of perfect love. Originally cultivated in Persia, it finally became the symbol of Holland. In the 17th century, tulips became so popular that a movement called “tulipomania” was generated. In the south region of France, the Var, tulip production is famous and reconized worldwide, specially the Carqueiranne giant tulip. This edible flower is highly used for dry and sensitive skin care.
