Crodarom® Black Pearl

Add to favourites
Tahitian black pearls develop their perfect shapes and colours in the deep turquoise waters of French Polynesia's lagoons. Long before Westerners discovered Tahiti, the black pearl had a reputation for exceptional value and rarity and it was the symbol of perfect beauty. As such, black pearl was known as the "Pearl of Queens" and the "Queen of Pearls". Pearls consist mainly of aragonite (CaCO3), trace element of marine origin and, conchiolin, an organic horn-like protein (albuminoid) compound. They revitalise and moisturise the skin. It takes a long time to develop a tiny pearl layer with a characteristic colour lustre which is finally giving preciousness to this ingredient.
