This perennial plant is named Elfe flower because of its delicate and beautiful flower that looks
like an elfe.
It has played a vital multifaceted role in traditional Asian medicine for at least 1000 years. In
TCM, it is traditionally used as aphrodisiac.
The Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences qualifies it as elite to slow down ageing and to
influence the longevity. Several researches identify this plant with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-fatigue properties. It is used as tonic and for general tiredness.
