Red Clay ER
Clays come from the decomposition of rocks by erosion. They are differentiated by the type of rock they come from, the climate or the topography of the soil. They are classified according to their chemical structure (illite, kaolinite, montmorillonite, etc.) and their colour. Red clay ER is extracted in Auvergne, and is composed of kaolin and illite-type clay. Its red colour comes from its rich content in oxidized iron. It is attributed with soothing properties and virtues ideal for reducing diffuse redness of the skin and bringing luminosity to the complexion.
